Tools & Equipment

Some land interactions require a player to equip certain tools, like mining or exploration equipment. This equipment can be won as in-game rewards or purchased through NFT drops or secondary marketplace transactions. Initially there will be the following types of Equipment NFTs in the game:

Mining Equipment Parameters

• Rarity

• Example Equipment: Pick Axes, Mining Shovels, Electric Drills, etc.

• Durability: The equipment has a limited number of uses and must be replaced or repaired once its durability reaches zero

• Mining Boost modifier: Different equipment has different mining boost modifiers that give it boosted probability of earning better loot. The boost modifier can increase the probability of mining a specific type of Engram Fragment

Exploration Equipment Parameters

• Rarity

• Example Equipment: Ground Penetrating Radar, Thermal Imaging, etc.

• Durability: The equipment has a limited number of uses and must be replaced or repaired once its durability reaches zero

• Exploration Boost modifier: Different equipment has different exploration boost modifiers that give it boosted search speed and boosted probability of success

Starter Kit

• Each player is given a starter Mining Shovel and Exploration Binoculars that do not degrade based on usage

Note: Tools are repaired by spending $CHEDDAR.
