Faraway Land is in public alpha, which means that you should treat nothing as final. There will be changes and rebalances.
The Butter you use in Land will be permanently removed from your Butter balance from miniroyale.io
Faraway will not refund any Butter that you spent in the game
Faraway Land is NOT the land strategy part of Mini Royale: Nations. This is a cross-project base-building game, and the design of Land needs to accommodate many different project styles.
The main idea of the land gameplay is to create mintable Gear. Once a player levels up their account to 24th level, they will have an ability to buy 1 of 12 Gear Factories. 1 Gear factory costs 12 identical blueprints & 1000 Butter. This gear factory will be used to create a specific type of gear. Note that Alpha Version of the game allows you to choose only one gear factory that you want to create.
Check out our guide for a refresher on Gear and what you can do with it in Mini Royale: Nations:
There are two types of in-game currency that are available in the land gameplay:
Banknotes are used to buy buildings through in-game shop. You can earn banknotes by selling your in-game items that you created through factories. You can sell items from your inventory.
Community buildings are used to increase the limit of population in the city. You can spend banknotes to buy community buildings, but a creation process also requires specific materials.
Houses are used to increase the actual population of your city. You can spend banknotes to buy houses, but you will be able to build houses only if the population limit of your city allows you to do that.
Factories are used to create different types of materials. The number of factories that you can build is affected by the population of your city & power capacity. You can spend banknotes to buy factories, no additional materials are needed.
Farms are used to generate agricultural products that are used to produce more valuable resources moving forward.
Power stations are used to increase the power capacity of your city. You can spend banknotes to buy power stations, no additional materials are needed.
Inventory is a special building that you use to store all your items in. You can also use inventory building to sell your items for banknotes.
You get banknotes when you sell your items through inventory or Black Market Delivery Service, and when you level up your account.
You start the game with 2000 banknotes in your account. Your goal is to build as many buildings as possible. Buildings will allow you to generate in-game products and items. These products can be sold through Inventory or Black Market Delivery Service for banknotes and account XP.
When you collect XP, your in-game level will be increased and you will get access to more buildings & products. You will also get 1 Blueprint and a treasure crate as a reward for leveling up.
There are a few ways how you can level up your account:
You get XP when you create buildings
You get XP when you grab products that you created through farms and factories
You get XP when you complete orders in Black Market Delivery Service
You get XP when you add your items in the Railway Time Machine
First of all, a player needs to build Tommy’s Farm in order to generate agricultural products - these products require spending only banknotes. Meantime any other products are made from generated items.
Go to Shop (1) and choose Tommy's Farm (2) — this one is waiting for you in Farming section
When you choose the building that you want to place on your land, the game UI will suggest you choose the location where you want to place it. The building that you just chose from the shop will be marked with the green arrows (4)
Game UI (3) will suggest you three options, you can choose what you want to do with the building:
Red button — remove from the map & close editor feature
Blue button — rotate the building, you can rotate it by 360 degrees
Green button — place the building.
Q: Can I change the building's location after I successfully placed it on my land?
A: Yes! Just hold right or left mouse button on the building that you want to move across the map. After 3-5 seconds UI will suggest you to move your building.
Once you’ve built Tommy’s Farm you can generate wheat — click on available spots to add more wheat (5). Your default building has 4 free spots, but you can unlock up to 8 spots with BUTTER (6). You can speed up the creation process by spending BUTTER (7)

When you collect grown items you earn account XP. Once you have a higher game level you will get access to grow different types of resources. You can use Tommy’s Farm to generate game resources & upgrade your game level.
Tommy's farm can produce different types of game resources, but your game account needs to be upgraded to a required level in order to have the ability to craft these resources.
Once you’ve leveled up your game account to level 2 you will get access to a couple of new buildings: Chimera Creamery & Wind Turbine. Chimera Creamery gives you access to generate new types of items and wind turbine increases power capacity by 10 - Let’s build them!
Default Chimera Creamery has 1 available spot, but you can unlock more spots by spending BUTTER. (8) The list of items that can be created in that building is stated below. (9)

Almost all buildings require additional time to be built. For example it takes 10 minutes to build a wind turbine, but you can speed up the progress by spending Butter!
You need to have enough power to be able to place more buildings on your land. Buildings allow you to create different resources so make sure you have each of them!
System automatically sends your items to your inventory building. (10) Inventory building has a limitation regarding the number of available storage spots. The inventory building can be upgraded - you can either get resources to upgrade your building or buy them with Butter. If you want to have more free space in your inventory you can sell some of your resources for banknotes. (11)

Yes! To sell your in-game stuff you can fulfill orders in the Black Market Delivery Service. (12) When you sell a specific set of items through the Black Market Delivery Service you get account XP and more banknotes (13), but you can’t sell random stuff — you must prepare the exact same number and types of items (14) in order to successfully meet all requirements and sell your items.
Leveling up gives you access to different types of items and buildings (15), which you will need to generate new items in order to create Gear. Also when you level up your game account you get a treasure crate (16) which gives you blueprints (17) & banknotes in rewards.
Players can grab blueprints throughout the game when they level up an account. Users can receive 1 blueprint per 1 account level. Type of blueprint will be picked at random. There are 12 types of blueprints that are available in the game: 6 evil and 6 good.
Once a user levels up their gaming account to level 24, they will be able to buy 1 out of 12 gear factories. A gear factory costs 15 identical cards and 1000 Butter.
Yes! You can swap your blueprints if you want to have other types of them. Here’s the gist:
3 different cards can be swapped into 1 card In that case you will be able to choose a card that you want to swap for. You can choose alignment (evil or good) and a type of factory (belt / bracelet / necklace / perfume / ring / watch). Swapping will cost you some banknotes and will last for 24 hours. You can not speed up this process with Butter.
2 identical cards can be swapped into 1 card In that case you will also be able to choose a card that you want to swap for. You can choose alignment (evil or good) and a type of factory (belt / bracelet / necklace / perfume / ring / watch). Swapping will cost you some banknotes and will last for 12 hours. You can not speed up this process with Butter.
Q: What’s the difference between these two options?
A: Users are able to choose how they want to swap their cards. If the user chooses to swap 3 different cards, the required time for swap will be longer than for the swap of 2 identical cards and will cost more.
If you want to choose blueprints that you plan to swap you will need to click on a blueprint & click Swap (18). Once you have a required set, UI will let you choose factory type (belt/bracelet/necklace/perfume/ring/watch) (19) and the alignment of your gear factory (evil / good) (20).
Once you have enough blueprints for a specific type of factory, you will be able to buy this factory. Please note that players can create only one factory. You will need to spend 12 identical cards and 1000 Butter in order to create a factory & unlock gear craft.
You will need to build a gear factory in order to successfully create Gear. In the current version of the game, players are able to create only one type of Gear factory. Once you build it, you won’t be able to revert your decision or remove this factory.
Each Gear factory has 3 spots, each spot works separately. Players need to stake Premium NFT in order to unlock each spot.
Players can use these green buttons (21, 22) to specify gear’s parameters such as rarity and set. Each Gear factory can be upgraded to a specific level. Factory’s level unlocks different sets and rarity for Gear.

For example if a player upgrades their gear factory to 6th level, they will unlock uncommon/rare Gear from the beginner, survival, life, offense and protection sets.
If player stakes Premium NFT of rarity that is lower than maximum rarity available in the factory, they will be able to create Gear of rarity that is not higher than rarity of their staked NFT.
For example if player stakes Uncommon NFT, but the factory's level is 6, the player will be able to create uncommon Gear from the beginner, survival, life, and offensive sets. Players can unstake heroes from a Gear factory if the factory's spots are not used for crafting process.
Players can use gear inventory to collect Gear in game, this is a separate inventory and it has a capacity of maximum 50 Gear items. If a player creates 50 unminted Gear they will not be able to create more Gear until they mint a part of the existing ones into NFTs. All Gear that you created through crafting will be available at miniroyale.io.

Railway station allows you to change your produced resources to special resources that are needed to create mintable Gear. Once you have a set of required items you can load them to the railway time machine.
Once you load a set in the railway time machine, you will have to wait 5 hours until it returns with more items for you. You can speed up this process by spending Butter.
When your set returns to you you will see new items up for grabs. You can get these items only through the railway time machine.
Items that each set requires and items that you can grab once your train returns are completely random. Although the number of items' spots that you will get is predetermined by the number of spots that you used to load your items.
To open more free space to place your buildings you need to spend banknotes & have enough population in your city. Sometimes this operation requires to have a specific items from the Railway Time Machine.
If you don’t have enough population, you can increase this number by building more community buildings & houses. If you have at least 5th game level you can choose the Community section in the shop and build a Faraway University that will add 10 units to your population.
You will eventually need more free space to place your building on, this means that you will need more population. Use community section in the shop and build unlocked community buildings to increase the population of your city!
To finish up the building process you will need to have a specific resource that can be earned through the railway time machine.
You will need to have all buildings to be able to create Gear. We will highlight the general buildings and resources that you can get from these buildings in this guide.
The Mine has 3 types of stones of a different hardness:
Soil Stone has hardness of level 1. This stone can be mined by 1 jackhammer or any other tool of higher power.
Sand stone has hardness of level 2. This stone can be mined by 1 mining drill or by 2 jackhammers, you can also use a higher powered tool.
Rock stone has hardness of level 3. This stone can be mined by 1 dynamite or by 3 jackhammers, etc.
Underground Mass Explosion
For each hardness level that the player break, they charge the underground bomb by 1 point. For example if the player brakes rock stone, they will add 3 points to the underground bomb.
Once you have 50/50 on the progress bar of the underground bomb, you can activate it. Activation of the bomb will result into instant destruction of all available stones.
When a ship approaches a port, the player can fulfil the order that consists of 3 different items. Each ship has from 9 to 12 available boxes and each box has a specific number of required items.
When the player adds their items into boxes they get XP and banknotes. The faster an order will be fulfilled, the higher reward the player will get. The reward for successfully fulfilled order splits into two parts: stable and dynamic. The player gets stable reward when they add required items into boxes. Dynamic reward highly depends on an order fulfilment speed - you need to fulfil your order and send a ship as soon as possible in order to get the higher reward.
Please note that dynamic reward will not be immediately sent to your account balance, you will get this reward once you send your ship.
If the player successfully fulfilled and sent the ship in time, they will get a golden chest as a bonus reward! This bonus chest can give you a special item that is required to build Gear.
Orders in the port are not affected by the buildings that player has already built, the only thing that affects orders is player's level.
Butter is used to speed-up game process and to buy missing items. Your Butter balance on is linked to the Butter balance on Faraway Land.
